In 2005, Ferrari introduced both the F430 and F430 Spider to the US Market.  The F430 was the successor to the Ferrari 360 Modena. The F430 was the first mainstream Ferrari to offer a Manettino dial. The dial allows the driver to quickly and simply adjust the electronics governing suspension settings, traction control, electronic differential, and change the speed of the electronic gearbox. The F430 came standard with a 4.3 Liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that produced 483 horsepower. Redline is at 8,500 RPM. 0-60 mph takes as little as 3.9 seconds.  The top speed is in excess of 196 mph. Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCB) was an option on both the Coupe and Spider through 2007. In fact, shift times for the F430 are on par with the Ferrari Enzo. The F430  is still very quick even by today's standards. The addition of the Manettino really transformed the car into a much more usable Super Car.
