Cauley Ferrari of Detroit is very proud to offer this amazing 2011 Ferrari SA Aperta in the striking triple layer paint, Giallo Triplo Strato, over a sporty Nero leather interior with Giallo accents and plenty of Carbon Fiber Trim. The SA Aperta is an incredibly rare machine as Ferrari only produced 80 for the entire world market. This model was a celebration of their design house partner, Pininfarina, and their 80th Anniversary which it the reasoning behind the 80 units built. It's name symbolized the two deceased Pininfarina family members, the father Sergio, and the son Andrea. Aperta is Italian for "Open Top" or "Roadster". These 80 examples were the only open top versions off the 599 GTB Fiorano model that were ever built. As soft top for emergencies comes equipped with the car but the design of the body truly lends itself to showing that open top. It bares the same powertrain as the special track version, the 599 GTO, with a 6.0L V12 engine putting out 656hp and 459 lb-ft of torque. It also features the quickest shifting single clutch transmission that Ferrari ever built with the F1-Superfast.This particular SA Aperta was ordered new by Cauley Ferrari for a local prominent client whom has cared for it over the last 7 years. Since this model was so rare and the only example to ever be delivered by Cauley Ferrari, it was decided to throw a special party for the lucky owner to officially take delivery of the car on October 27th, 2011. Shortly after the vehicle's delivery, the silver factory wheels were upgraded to a satin black Challenge style Ferrari Genuine Accessory wheel giving the car a much more aggressive look. The original wheels are being sold with the car along with what you currently see. Our skilled team of factory trained technicians have been servicing the car all these years and kept it in top mechanical shape.
This SA Aperta featured an original base MSRP of $515,000 before any options were added. An extensive list of options can be found people that were ordered on this car which brought the car to over $115K in options with a total "As-Equipped" MSRP of $633,881. Two of the most notable and exciting options on the car are the triple layer exterior paint and the upgraded Carbon Fiber removable roof.
